Recruiting and training candidates who favor big government

A key part of the massive new infusion of cash into left-leaning infrastructure is into groups that identify and recruit future progressive politicians who will reliably vote for progressive/liberal/big government legislation once they are in office.

PACs, 501c3s and 501c4s

Different groups with different legal designations all have a role to play. Technically, only PACs can recruit candidates. But organizations that other legal designations (tax-exempt 501c3s and 501c4s who do not have to disclose donors) can coach candidates, provide campaign training and technical support, and provide strategic messaging input.

Don't leave it up to the Democratic party

The days when liberals left it up to the local Democratic party to make sure that talented candidates were running for office at all levels is over. Left-leaning liberals are pouring money into organizations, especially the Progressive Majority, whose mission it is to identify, recruit and train left-leaning political candidates at all levels of political involvement.
